Last Minute: Hear No Evil Review & Giveaway

This is a bit last minute but that doesn’t make it any less important.

A couple of weeks ago I was offered the chance to receive the book, “Hear No Evil” by Matthew Paul Turner. For a small review I would get to keep the copy. And my bookshelf needed some new material so here I am. LOL.

Pretty much from the moment I picked this book up I was laughing. I’m not sure if it’s because of the way I’ve grown up, in several different churches and so I could relate as he described in great detail how the different churches/people were or if it was just that funny. It was informative and hilarious all at the same time. I had honestly never heard of “Thew”, as he tries to get nicknamed in the book, before until a friend  retweeted something by him on Twitter. I liked what he said and followed him @JesusNeedsNewPR and haven’t regretted it since. But this is supposed to be about the book not him. Thing is the book is about him and his growth into the Christian music scene. It’s all a part of him and somehow it becomes a part of you. Matthew writes in a way that is easy to relate to. He keeps a good flow of humor and seriousness. I enjoyed the book so much I can’t wait to my hands on a copy of his 1st book, “Churched”. If it’s anything like this one I know I’m in for a good time.
